    How to Deactivate Snapchat?

    Deactivating your Snapchat account is a simple process that takes no more than a few moments. By doing so, you will be able to protect your privacy and keep your account secure. If you ever decide to reactivate your account, you can do so easily and all of your data will be restored.

    To deactivate your account, open the Snapchat app and tap the profile icon in the upper left hand corner. From the profile page, select the Settings icon in the upper right corner. Scroll down the Settings page and select the 'My Account' option. On the 'My Account' page, scroll to the bottom and select 'Delete My Account'. You will be prompted to enter your password and select a reason for why you are deactivating your account. Once you have done this, your account will be deactivated.

    Keep in mind that you can reactivate your account if you decide to do so. To do this, simply log in using the same username and password you used prior to deactivation. All of your Snaps, conversations, and Stories will be restored.
